The Missouri Paddler's Guide lists this as Compton camp (Forest Service). There is very little information about this location available on the internet.
Forest Service Road 3144 runs northwest from State Route C to the Current River. There is a sign at the intersection of 3144 and C that indicates this is a "Spring Walk In Turkey Hunting Area", and vehicle access is restricted during turkey hunting season.
State Route C runs North/South between US-60 west of Van Buren and US-160 west of Doniphan.
