This access is one of the most beautiful places in Missouri, but the ramp is prone to frequent washouts.
Paddlers usually can make this one work year-round, but Jon boats may be inaccessible for parts of the year. Sometimes, there are boulders blocking vehicle access to the gravel bar.
The most popular floats in this area are Prongs to Buck Hollow and Buck Hollow to Rymers, but when the gauges are up, you might float all the way to Bay Creek Campground or Alley Spring in a single day.
