Description[edit | edit source]

A shorter float, and dependent upon recent rains. This section will allow you to see Grandma Rocks and of course Alley Spring.

Gauge[edit | edit source]

Lower floatable limit: 75CFS
Recommended minimum: 100CFS
Unsafe: At 5.4ft (about 2200CFS), this section of river will be closed.

As a general rule for most Ozark streams, 100cfs should be enough water to avoid scraping or needing to walk. Some sections can be floated with as little as 65CFS, but this is only recommended for experienced paddlers that can identify the channel, and will still mean some walking.
