Description[edit | edit source]

All floats on the upper jacks are tremendous. Chalk Bluff is among the many sights on this section.

Gauge[edit | edit source]

As a general rule for most Ozark streams, 100cfs should be enough water to avoid scraping or needing to walk. Some sections can be floated with as little as 65CFS, but this is only recommended for experienced paddlers that can identify the channel, and will still mean some walking.

Significant water enters the river between Blue Spring and Alley Spring, so we can average the CFS value between the Alley gauge and the Mountain View gauge to predict what the water will be like around Rymers. jkfm7_hg.png alym7_hg.png

Outfitters[edit | edit source]

Overnight floaters can outfit through Windy's or Harvey's, but day floaters may need to arrange for a private shuttle.
